Size Guide

A size label is a starting point, not a universal measurement. Fit can differ between shirts, knits, trousers, dresses and tailored pieces. Use any measurements listed on the individual product page first.

Before choosing a size

  1. Decide how you want the garment to fit: close, easy or layered.
  2. Compare the style and fit description with a similar item you already wear comfortably.
  3. Check the product's available size options. Do not assume that a letter size has identical measurements in every style.
  4. If you need a measurement that is not provided, contact us with the item name and the measurement you need before ordering.

Taking body measurements

  • Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waist without tightening the tape.
  • Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
  • Inseam: measure the inner leg from the crotch seam to the desired hem.

Body measurements and garment measurements are different. Allow room for movement and the fit you prefer. For garment measurements, lay a comparable item flat and measure without stretching it.

Between sizes or buying tailoring?

Consider the style's intended shape and any layering. For trousers, check waist and length; for a blazer, consider shoulder and chest room. For dresses and skirts, consider the waist, hips and intended length. We do not publish a universal numeric conversion or unverified garment measurements.
